Current product boundary
One authorized matter. One supervised chronology. Every proposed fact reviewable against a source page.
Under Seal is a pre-release design-partner program for litigation firms. The pilot is an evidence-gathering workflow, not a general legal assistant or a promise of automatic chronology quality.
What the pilot includes
The firm selects an authorized PDF set and named reviewers. Under Seal registers source files, records page-level coverage, supports local retrieval and chronology review, retains versioned receipts, and blocks export when configured checks remain unresolved.
- One matter and a written document boundary
- Firm-controlled compatible hardware
- Local PDF intake and OCR fallback
- Source-page pins and visible gaps
- Accept, edit, reject, or not-found review
- Named-attorney approval for eligible exports
What it excludes
The current pilot does not include autonomous filing, deadline calculation, discovery certification, legal advice, client communications, settlement decisions, trust accounting, billing automation, deposition products, or a complete six-desk platform.
What must be ready first
A pilot requires representative product evidence, supported hardware, identity and deployment controls, backup and recovery, a named lawyer review for the selected jurisdiction and matter profile, signed commercial terms, operator training, and a successful non-client rehearsal.
How success is measured
The pilot measures source coverage, source-pin support, unsupported or materially corrected claims, reviewer time and correction burden, reliability, support load, and recovery behavior. It does not convert one successful matter into a universal accuracy or savings claim.
Stop conditions
Stop and remediate if matter material leaves the approved environment, a fabricated citation passes, a source pin does not support an accepted statement, a held page is silently trusted, a receipt is missing, or an unresolved blocking check is exported.
Start with fit, not a file upload
The readiness review asks about your firm and intended workflow. Do not submit client names, case facts, records, health information, or privileged material.
